The origin of the Baluchi Horse breed is in parts of Baluchistan, Sind, and districts of Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Muzaffargarh on the Punjab province of Pakistan. There is a strong resemblance between this breed and Indian Kathiawari breed. Its colors include gray, chestnut and bay.
The Baluchi is characterized by its long neck and curvy ears. They have fine strong legs and are medium-sized animals. Mostly there are used in pleasure riding and in routine activities like tonga pulling and tent pegging.
