The Bhirum Pony came from the northern regions of Nigeria in Africa. It is one of a kind dwarf breed and rarely found. Not many people know about this breed and it is hard to find them in any other country. Many horse experts believe that the dwarf horses came from midgets and dwarfism is otherwise not found in big horses. The dwarf horses are also called miniature horses as it is unnatural for horses to be of that size. However if the Bhirum Pony is because of equine dwarfism is yet to be proven and there is no proof to that.
